Where Are They Now?
DeeDee (aka RWC Mud Dauber) was adopted through Greyhound Rescue and Rehab in Cross River, NY. This lovely ‘foster-failure’ was adopted by Karen and Adam.
They weren’t quite ready to adopt after losing a much loved hound shortly before, so they thought they would give fostering a go. It wasn’t long before they fell in love with this sweet grey!
Karen is pleased to report that DeeDee is making progress going up-and-down stairs likes she’s been doing it all her life. She enjoys chasing cats, but it’s more in play. And DeeDee has discovered toys! Her favorites are stuffed animals (especially the kind filled with crinkly materials) and Kongs filled with peanut butter.
This lucky little fawn greyhound, Millie (aka Jasmine) shares the pillow with her sister, Phoebe. She was also adopted through Greyhound Rescue and Rehab by Angela and Steve.
Her favorite activities are going for walks, meeting all her neighbors and snuggling with her family. Millie is the 5th greyhound for this wonderful family! She loves kids and everyone she meets, making her the perfect fit.
Millie also loves her treats and pretends to need to go out just to get a treat upon her return (who says greyhounds aren’t smart?)!
Obviously, she doesn’t mind dressing up for the celebration either!
